Goji Berries, or Wolf berries, are bright red berries high in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins & protein. Packed full of Vitamin C, Vitamin A & essential amino acids, Goji berries are raisin-like in size & can be eaten straight out the pot, sprinkled on a salad or added to smoothies & shakes.

They have a subtle sweetness with a chewy texture making them a satisfying snack either on their own or as part of a fruit & nut mix. As such, they’re great for adding to muesli or even cereal bars. They can also be soaked overnight so they become plump & soft, perfect for overnight-oats or garnishing sweet & savoury dishes.

Their fibre content is on par with prunes & apricots and although they are beaten to top position for antioxidants by the Inca Berry, they still contains a good amount of antioxidants, beating many other similar fruits.

Be careful though – some alternatives on the market are sweetened with sugar syrup or contain sulphur dioxide – make sure you avoid those! Ours are 100% pure, dried whole fruits.

For a great smoothie, add 2 tsp (8g) of Goji Berries to a blender with a banana & 200ml almond milk (or your favourite alternative) & blend well. If just used like this, the pot contains around 5 servings, so it’s great value. We use them in our snack mixes as well as overnight oats.
