Our beautiful Harissa blend gives you rich, warming spice with a North African spicy kick! Harissa is often seen in a jar as a paste, but the problem is you need to use the whole jar in a week or so of opening; with ours, make a paste with a drizzle of oil or yoghurt and 2 tsp of the rub, but leave the rest in the pot and it’ll last around two years. It’s also much easier to throw a pinch over roast veg.
It’s an incredible marinade for lamb, chicken or roast vegetables but also great drizzled over as you cook.
Stir in 2 tsp of the rub into natural yoghurt for a fab dip, or add to a splash of oil, honey & lemon juice for a dressing for halloumi or salads.
For a classic twist, mix 2 tsp of the rub to lamb mince (or your favourite) then shape into kebabs. BBQ or grill, then serve with a drizzle of yoghurt & lemon juice, wraps & your favourite veggies. Or shape into burger patties & serve in a bun.
For a super simple marinade, add 2 tsp of the rub to a drizzle of oil & lemon juice & marinate sliced halloumi for 1-2 hours. Gently fry until golden one side. Flip it over, add a small drizzle of honey & fry for another couple of minutes. Serve with wraps or salad leaves & your favourite dips. This also makes a fab halloumi burger.
