Our gorgeous Lemon Pepper is fresh, warm & tangy, perfect for roast chicken, fish & lots more. Add depth to your cooking in just a pinch! Throw some on a chicken or other meats before roasting, or add a few chopped herbs for a fish dish. This is great for seasoning flour too before coating squid! It can even be used as a salt replacement for some meals with its zesty warmth.
For a classic Lemon Chicken recipe, mix 1-2 tsp of the rub to 1/4 cup of flour, then evenly coat 2 flattened chicken breasts. Cut into pieces if you prefer. Cook in a pan with a drizzle of oil & butter (for extra flavour) until cooked through. Serve with veggies, rice or salad leaves.
For a super simple dressing, add 2 tsp of the rub to a drizzle of rapeseed or olive oil & shake well until combined. Drizzle over anything!
For a treat, arrange asparagus in a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil & a generous pinch of the rub. Add grated parmesan & roast for 8-10 minutes in a hot oven. Delicious!
For seafood, mix 1 tsp of the rub to season flour, then toss squid or prawns to coat, then quickly fry for a few minutes until cooked. Alternatively, lightly dust some salmon fillets with the rub & cook as usual. Flavour doesn’t have to be complicated!
