Our cold-pressed Sicilian Lemon Oil is light & delicious, giving a gorgeously lemony kick to anything it touches!
It’s beautiful drizzled on prawns, pizza, pasta, fish, scallops & more. It’s also equally at home as a marinade or salad dressing. It’s easy to make the perfect marinade or drizzle: mix 1-2 tsp of Herby Fish rub (or your favourite) with a splash of the oil & drizzle on fish or prawns to absorb the flavours. Because this is a cold-pressed, extra virgin rapeseed oil it’s beautiful on it’s own as a dressing or for cooking.
Try adding a dash into a home-made mayonnaise for a delicious twist or drizzle on feta cheese with a sprinkle of dried oregano.
Our simple SuperFood Salad recipe really showcases the flavours well. We use a gorgeous, single-estate British rapeseed oil that’s cold-pressed, so it’s as good drizzled on salads as it is for cooking with.
Apart from supporting British farmers, we find the infusions taste ‘cleaner’ and are more defined using rapeseed oil.
As well as having half the saturated fat than olive oil, rapeseed oil gets hotter before reaching its smoking point so it’s easier to get things crispy, like roast potatoes, with less effort.
