The next step up from our gorgeous Gran Riserva is our Supremo ‘Extra Special Reserve’ Aged Balsamic Vinegar. 

Aged for even longer in barrels to create an incredible, thick, naturally sweet dressing that takes balsamic vinegar to the next level.

One key difference with our balsamic vinegars compared with other cheaper imitations is that we don’t use watery, thin balsamic vinegar; these are thick enough to use as a glaze but without the artificial sweeteners & thickeners.

We also don’t add a grain of sugar, caramel (E150) or sweetener anywhere in the process – all the sweetness comes from the passing of time This is unlike any ‘supermarket balsamic’ or cheap, watery vinegars made with 40-50% sugar Neither do we do ‘reductions’ – cheaper vinegars that have been boiled to reduce them & make them thicker.

This is a pure balsamic vinegar made only from the pure grape must; NO wine vinegar, NO sugar & never (ever) any caramel or colouring – just pure, aged balsamic vinegar from Modena for the discerning palate.

Use sparingly on mushroom dishes, steak, game, roast veg, tomatoes or add a dash to sauces We love to drizzle a few drops on risotto or onto rocket leaves before finishing with parmesan shavings Try adding rocket leaves to a cooked pizza & drizzle with balsamic – it makes a huge difference!
