Our fragrant Coriander Seeds have a mild, slightly-sweet, citrusy flavour when crushed & are essential to Asian & Middle Eastern cooking. Outside of Asia they are often used for pickling & sausage making.
Coriander is one of our absolute favourite spices & highly versatile, widely used in soups, curries, tagines, with meat dishes as well as root veg like sweet potatoes. Add to rice dishes or cous cous too for an extra level of flavour. We love to grind a few and bash them into a flattened chicken breast, along with some Sweet Paprika, before grilling or frying.
Try adding a few to a pepper grinder for a lemony kick when you’re grinding your black pepper.
Coriander contains a naturally occurring source of salicylates and is best avoided by people eating a salicylate free diet.
