A gorgeous blend of spices, including sweet paprika, lemon zest, coriander & thyme, our Halloumi & Tofu spice is so versatile & an easy way to give a massive flavour boost to otherwise-bland food.

The Nutritional Yeast is an added ingredient that makes this blend sing! It’s essentially the vegan equivalent of parmesan & gives a slightly cheesy, nutty boost to anything. A pinch of Halloumi & Tofu spice on asparagus as you cook it will take this humble spear to the next level!

For a super simple dressing, mix 1 tsp of the rub with a drizzle of oil & lemon juice; pour on anything as you cook or as you serve. Try roasting asparagus with this drizzled on it. Yum!

Dust onto halloumi before frying or grilling it or use to coat tofu before you fry it. You can either add 1 Tbsp to some flour & dust the food, or skip the flour completely & just dust the spice for even more flavour! This is an amazing blend that gives any veggies a gorgeous flavour. 

This is our fave way of cooking tofu:

  • 1 block of extra firm tofu, cubed & dried with kitchen towel
  • 1 Tbsp Halloumi & Tofu spice
  • saute for 5 mins, turning to brown on all sides
  • finish baking in the oven for 12-15 mins to get crispy
  • add to salads & stir fries

Like so many in our range, this is another that’s sugar-free, gluten-free, paleo & vegan too. With no fillers or anything artificial, our unique blend of herbs & spice create the purest, freshest flavour possible to give your food attitude. 

This makes it ‘free’ on all the slimming plans we know of!

Our Halloumi & Tofu spice also makes fab hummus! The ‘cheat method’ is to stir 1 tsp into shop-bought hummus & finish with a drizzle of Sicilian Lemon oil, but it’s a simple dish to prepare from scratch anyway. To make it yourself, you just need:

  • 1 can of cooked, drained chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Halloumi & Tofu spice
  • 1 Tbsp cold-pressed Rapeseed oil (or your favourite)
  • 1 Tbsp tahini (optional)
  • Good squeeze of lemon juice

Add everything to a food processor & blitz until smooth. You may have to stop it a couple of times to scrape down the bowl to get everything combined. Loosen with more lemon juice and maybe even 1 Tbsp of water if needed. Put in a bowl, add another pinch of Halloumi & Tofu spice on top & serve with falafel or raw veggies – radishes, carrots, sugar snap peas are ace. 

Try stirring 1 tsp of Halloumi & Tofu spice into sour cream or Greek yoghurt for a cooling dip too!
