Rich, Sweet Paprika is a gorgeous way to get richness into food without the heat. Supplied in a resealable pot to retain freshness.
Until the 1920’s, central European paprika used to be hot, but a Hungarian grower managed to produce a sweeter fruit to form a much more rounded flavour with much less heat. Ground with less than half of the seeds (which contain some of the heat) than regular paprika, this is much sweeter with a gorgeous depth of flavour.
We rub Sweet Paprika and Ground Coriander onto a flattened chicken breast, then pan-fry for 8-10 minutes, turning frequently. Then, slice & serve with tortilla wraps or with a salad!
Paprika contains a naturally occurring source of salicylates and is best avoided by people eating a salicylate free diet.
